About Me:
I am a graduate of Snow College where I earned my associate degree and then transferred to Weber State University earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree--My specialization areas were Drawing, Printmaking, and Bookart. I got married to my beautiful wife, Heather in 2002 and we have four children (Trista, Turner, Ellana, and Brexton) who always keep us busy. I always wanted to teach and started teaching in 2007 at Oak Canyon Jr. High School and Lehi Jr. High School. In 2008 I transferred here to Lehi High School and have been here ever since. I am currently the Visual Arts Department Chair and teach a lot of the 2-D art classes. I love my job and enjoy seeing students grow and learn through art.
Other than art, some of my other hobbies and interests are gardening, biking, camping, hiking, fishing, geocaching, and woodworking. I also have one dog, two cats, a bird, and an aquarium full of fish. I love staying busy and continually find different interests to keep life from being too static.
